Reflection

Bob has been involved with Qigong and Chinese Martial Arts since the early 70’s gaining his Instructorship in 1979.

​

Since then, his travels and training introduced him to many other notable Masters of these ancient Arts both here in the UK and in China where he became an initiate of Grandmaster Master You Xuande (Wudang Pai), with further studies under the late Professor Zhang Guande (Beijing), and Sifu Gordon Faulkner (UK).

Further to what has already been said, Bob has never been idle as he has been involved with:

​

  • Origination and Co-organiser of the Scottish Festival of Martial Arts 1993 & 1994

  • Director and originator of the Ayr Festival of Martial Arts 1995 & 1996

  • Chairman of the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain 1995 - 1998

  • Founder & Director of Qigongtauk 2008 – present.

  • Regular contributor to Rencontres Jasnieres annual Taiji meeting in France

  • Teacher to numerous workshops, demonstrations and lectures throughout the UK and Europe

  • Previous contributor to numerous Martial Art magazines and journals.
