Bob Lowey is the Founder and Director of Qigongtauk (Qigong Teachers Association UK), Founder and Principal Tutor of the 7 Stars School of Taijiquan (established in 1985), and co-founder of Tai Chi Caledonia (established 1996).
(Europe’s largest residential Tai Chi and related Arts event).
A lifetime of
Qigong & Taijiquan
Bob has been involved with Qigong and Chinese Martial Arts since the early 70’s gaining his Instructorship in 1979.

Since then, his travels and training introduced him to many other notable Masters of these ancient Arts both here in the UK and in China where he became an initiate of Grandmaster Master You Xuande (Wudang Pai), with further studies under the late Professor Zhang Guande (Beijing), and Gordon Faulkner (UK).

Director and originator of the Ayr Festival of Martial Arts 1995 & 1996

Chairman of the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain 1995 - 1998

Regular contributor to Rencontres Jasnieres annual Taiji meeting in France

Teacher to numerous workshops, demonstrations and lectures throughout the UK and Europe
